The existing asphalt coating on the corrugated steel roof was worn and deteriorated. The steel panels had become exposed and were beginning to show signs of surface rust. Many of the existing fasteners had become loose and the neoprene washers had dry rotted. The roof was beginning to leak in a number of areas throughout the building.

First, the old fasteners and neoprene washers were replaced with oversized screws and new rubberwashers. Next, the roof surface was pressure washed to remove all loose coating, dirt and residue. Afterwards, a base primer, followed by a heavy bodied fibrated coating, were spray applied over the entire roof surface.
