Metal - Tech FG is a two component fluid grade metal resurfacing system. It is mechanically tough, with outstanding adhesion to all metals. It is easily machined, and can be drilled, tapped, sanded or turned like any base metal. It is also an ideal cold casting material with no shrinkage on curing, allowing its use in close tolerance applications. When combined with Thortex Grip, the resultant product provides an ideal resurfacing system for conveyor belt rollers.

This drive roller was resurfaced with Metal-Tech FG - a fluid polymer system - followed by the application of a course bauxite aggregate.

The applied system provided a non-slip surface with outstanding grip properties.
